My first angel investment - the Creative Commons of Privacy Policies

I’m really excited as today I can announce my first (mini) angel investment. It’s on Iubenda, a company that will solve the privacy policy problem for website owners. The CEO is 21 and rocks really hard.

The investment is part of a $100.000 round led by Digital Investment SCA SICAR (advised by dPixel, with Gianluca Dettori), Andrea Di Camillo (Vitaminic, Banzai) and Marco Magnocavallo (Blogo). 

I would really appreciate if you guys could sign up and share this with your friends. They have created a pretty cool invitation system with a ranking, and on July 1st they’ll release the first 30 invites. The ranking is based on how much you share it and how many people you invite. A home-made but incredibly better Launchrock (thinking of spinning it off too).

So what is it? Iubenda allows anyone to generate a Privacy Policy for his website, something like this.

They aim to be the Creative Commons of Privacy Policies, their Privacy Policy can be embedded on any website (after a bit of customization) and their goal is to reach the footer of every website in the world.

Iubenda is launching with 5m end users from day one thanks to partnerships with some major italian websites including Wikli, FanPage, NinjaMarketing and TagliaBlog. Their visitors will be exposed to privacy policies generated by Iubenda.
